Union Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav held a review meeting of officials of important departments at the Circuit House and gave necessary guidelines. During this, Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) Sanjay Sharma was also present.
Union Minister of Forest and Environment Yadav discussed with the officials about smooth drinking water supply in Alwar, Sariska Sanctuary, the problem of waterlogging in Bhiwadi and the overall development of Alwar district and took feedback. He said that the concerned department should prepare a roadmap for development works and solution of problems. He took feedback from the officials of the Water Supply Department on the arrangement of drinking water supply in Alwar city. He directed that the drinking water supply of Alwar city should prepare an action plan on the basis of the areas of the Nagar Vikas Nyas, in which along with domestic drinking water, institutional water system should also be included. Similarly, he discussed in detail the drinking water supply system of Alwar district and water conservation and groundwater recharge etc. After taking feedback from the forest department officials on the overall development of Sariska Sanctuary, he directed that an action plan be made on every aspect related to the development and conservation of Sariska Sanctuary. Regarding solving the water logging problem in Bhiwadi, he stressed on making a coordinated action plan by taking feedback from Bhiwadi Municipal Council, RIICO, DIC, Pollution Control Board and related officials. He also directed the officials that the concerned departments should work in coordination for the development works of the district and resolution of problems of the common people. He said that such meetings would be held regularly for the overall development and solution of problems of Alwar district.
