State government committed to environmental protection - Tourists will now travel by e-rickshaw in Keoladeo National Park

Keoladeo National Park, which has established its unique identity in world tourism, is a center of attraction not only for nature lovers but also for tourists. Home of more than 350 migratory birds, Keoladev is visited by hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists every year to watch the frolic of wildlife along with birds. Keeping this in view, the Keoladeo administration is working determinedly for the facilities of the tourists as well as for the protection of the environment.

Deputy Conservator of Forests of Keoladeo National Park Manas Singh said that manual rickshaws have been completely banned in the park for tourists and e-rickshaws have been introduced. He told that so far more than 90 e-rickshaws have been registered. With the help of e-rickshaw, tourists will be able to visit the park in less time. Also, rickshaw pullers will not have to face any kind of problem. Along with this, manual rickshaws have been replaced by fossil-fuel free e-rickshaws, which will also prove to be excellent from the point of view of environmental protection. Manas said that Keoladeo administration is fully determined for noise free and pollution free environment protection. In this direction, Keoladeo National Park is being preserved by continuously making new innovations.

Tourist Benka, who arrived from England on Keoladev tour, told that she is thrilled to see the birds and greenery here. He said that traveling by e-rickshaw in the park is a noise and pollution free tour for him with a thrill. Also praising the park administration, said that the arrangements here are quite different from England, so they are getting to learn a lot along with knowing the wildlife here.
