'One tree in the name of mother' Intensive tree plantation campaign-2024, District In-charge Minister planted trees in Ummed Garden, all the residents of the state should plant as many trees as possible - Panchayati Raj Minister

Jaipur, July 14 l Under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' Intensive Tree Plantation Campaign 2024, Cabinet Minister of Education and Panchayati Raj Department and District In-charge Minister Madan Dilawar on Sunday performed tree worship and planted trees at the Umaid Garden premises in Jodhpur district. During this, he observed the garden developed on Miyawaki technology.

On this occasion, Madan Dilawar said that the importance of trees for the protection of life on Mother Earth from climate change and rising temperatures is self-evident. He said that planting more and more trees will reduce the temperature, increase the amount of rainfall, increase the oxygen.

Dilawar appealed to all the people of the state to plant trees in maximum numbers and contribute to keeping the environment clean and green.

During this, Municipal Corporation South Mayor Vanita Seth, Principal Secretary to Government and District In-charge Secretary of Revenue and Colonization Department Dinesh Kumar, District Collector Gaurav Agarwal along with public representatives and district level officers were present.
