Jodhpur: Protest held in Kudi Bhagatsuni Housing Board over MV Act challan

There was anger among the local residents in Sector 8 of Kudi Bhagatsuni Housing Board over challans issued by the police under the MV (Motor Vehicles) Act. The residents of the area, led by the Sarpanch, staged a strong protest against this action.

The protesters said that the challans issued by the police were unfair and excessive, causing inconvenience to the local people. The Sarpanch alleged that the police suddenly started issuing challans without any prior notice or explanation, which increased discontent among the people.

To bring the situation under control, police officials reached the spot and talked to the protesters. The police explained the matter to the protesters to calm them down and assured them of listening to their problems. After the talks, both the parties agreed and the matter was settled.

The police said that it was their responsibility to issue challans under the MV Act, but they also promised that transparency and justice would be followed in the action from now on. The Sarpanch and other local leaders welcomed this assurance of the police and appealed to the people to maintain peace.
