Jodhpur: IPS officer M.L. Garg took charge

In a significant event in Jodhpur, IPS officer M.L. Garg took over as IG (Inspector General) of BSF (Border Security Force). Outgoing IG Makrand Deuskar handed over the charge to Garg.

While taking over the charge, M.L. Garg said, "Border Security Force is always ready for every challenge. We are fully capable to face any kind of challenge on the Indo-Pak international border."

Many senior BSF officers were also present on the occasion, who welcomed Garg and wished him all the best for his tenure. Makrand Deuskar shared his experiences of his tenure and assured Garg of his support.

In his address, M.L. Garg emphasized on the preparations and plans of the security force and said that the priority of BSF will always be security of the border and protection of national interests. He also said that the capability of the security force will be further strengthened through modern technology and better training.
