Indian Judicial Code (BNS) implemented from July 1, changes made in the sections of IPC

New Delhi: The Indian Justice Code (BNS) will come into force from July 1, which will replace the old sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). New sections have been prescribed for various crimes in it. Here are some important changes:

Assault (IPC 323) now BNS 115

Molestation (IPC 354) now BNS 74

Physical contact and advances (IPC 354A) now BNS 76

Physical contact and obscenity (IPC 354B) now BNS 75

Voyeurism (IPC 354C) now BNS 77

Stalking (IPC 354D) now BNS 78

Abduction of a minor (IPC 363) now BNS 139
