New Delhi: The Indian Justice Code (BNS) will come into force from July 1, which will replace the old sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). New sections have been prescribed for various crimes in it. Here are some important changes:

Attempt to murder (IPC 307) now BNS 109

Assault (IPC 323) now BNS 115

Molestation (IPC 354) now BNS 74

Physical contact and advances (IPC 354A) now BNS 76
