Jodhpur, June 24. District Election Officer (Panchayat) and District Collector Gaurav Agarwal has issued orders to declare drought day in the constituencies of Sarpanch in Gram Panchayat Kharia Mithapur of Panchayat Samiti Bilada.
According to the order, drought day will be declared in the constituencies of Gram Panchayat Kharia Mithapur of Panchayat Samiti Bilada and its peripheral area of 5 kilometers from 5 pm on June 28 till the completion of counting of votes on June 30. During this time there will be a complete ban on the sale and consumption of liquor in these areas.
To maintain law and order, District Election Officer Agarwal has appointed Tehsildar Bilada as Area Magistrate. Tehsildar Bilada has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting and arranging the by-election during this period, so that the election process can be completed smoothly and peacefully.
