Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the role of youth is very important in the progress of the country and the state and the state government is committed to build an educated and prosperous state along with the advancement of youth power in accordance with the resolution of Aapno Agrani Rajasthan.
Sharma was addressing the delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad during their meeting at the Chief Minister's residence on Tuesday. He said that the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that there are four classes in this country such as youth, women, farmers and the poor, for whose upliftment the state government is constantly working. He said that by increasing the reservation for women from 30 to 50 percent in third class teacher recruitment, the foundation of our children will be strengthened at the primary level. He assured that the state government will provide full opportunities to the sons as well as daughters to move forward.
The Chief Minister said that various decisions for the welfare and empowerment of youth would be included in the upcoming revised budget. On this occasion, the youth also gave their suggestions on various topics including promotion of research in universities, special campaigns for employment, expansion of sports facilities, women safety, promotion of traditional sports, promotion of Indian culture. He said that along with highlighting the problems of the youth, student organisations should also become a medium for their solution. He discussed in detail with the delegation on important points related to youth empowerment and student welfare. Before this, the representatives of the organisation presented a bouquet to the Chief Minister and presented the book Dhyey Yatra. During this, representatives of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad from various universities of the state were present.
