The meetings of the second session of the sixteenth Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will begin from Wednesday, July 3. Earlier on Tuesday, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani called an all-party meeting in the Legislative Assembly. Devnani's organizing an all-party meeting to run the House in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is a historic initiative. Devnani has appealed to all parties for cooperation to run the House peacefully.

Devnani said that this sacred House of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly represents eight crore people of the state. The general public watches the proceedings of the House. The public representatives elected by the people of the state should present their conduct and behavior in accordance with the public aspirations, so that the name of the Legislative Assembly can be glorified. Mr. Devnani said that the Legislative Assembly will run according to the rules and decorum. He asked all the parties to cooperate in running the House peacefully and to put their point in the meaningful debate within the time limit.

Devnani chaired the all-party meeting -

While chairing the all-party meeting, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that there should be meaningful discussion in the House. All members will get a chance to speak. All members of all parties will have to have a positive attitude so that the Vidhan Sabha can run for as many days as possible. He said that the responsibility of running the House lies with all the newly elected members of the 16th Vidhan Sabha.

Discussion on lunch break -

Devnani discussed about the lunch break in the meeting. He said that on the lines of the Lok Sabha, a fixed time for lunch break can be fixed in the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha as well. This will enable all the MLAs to have lunch at the same time and after that all the members will be able to participate in the proceedings of the House again. On this proposal of Shri Devnani, the representatives of all the parties present in the meeting agreed, calling it a good initiative.

92 percent of the questions have been answered by the Vidhan Sabha - Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that out of the 2054 questions of the first session, 92 percent of the questions have been answered by the Vidhan Sabha. Now answers to 177 questions are yet to come. Devnani said that this is a good sign. The Vidhan Sabha is also expected to receive answers to the remaining questions soon. It was decided in the meeting that the Vidhan Sabha must receive answers to all the questions of the last session before the new session begins.

Raise issues with decency, everyone will get a chance to speak in the House Vidhan Sabha -

Devnani said that all parties will be allotted time for discussion as per rules. Members should put forward their views as much as possible within the time limit. He said that it will be the responsibility of the leaders of the parties that the members of their party should try to put forward their views in the House within the allotted time. Mr. Devnani said that all members should raise issues with decency.

The House will run for longer if required for debate on public interest issues -

Devnani said that this House is a sacred place to discuss public interest issues. It is the responsibility of all of us to maintain the dignity of this place. There will be meaningful discussion on public interest issues. For this, if there is a need to run the House for longer, then the House will be run for longer. He said that problems are solved through dialogue. Efforts will be made to resolve the problems in the House. Here the members' issues will be taken seriously, the problems raised by them will also be resolved.

Healthy criticism brings new momentum in work - Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that all the members of the ruling party and the opposition have the same feeling to present their views in the House. All efforts should be made to ensure that all members get a chance to present their views. Members should also try to present their views within the time limit. The responsibility of running the House is not only of the ruling party but also of the opposition - Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tikaram Julie assured that the opposition will cooperate in running the House. The members of the opposition will present their views in a dignified manner in the House. He said that the government should take the issues raised in the House seriously. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that this is a historic initiative of Speaker Vasudev Devnani in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Government Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg, BSP's Manoj Kumar, Bharat Adivasi Party's Thawar Chand and RLD's Dr. Subhash Garg were also present in the meeting.

Important suggestions came in the meeting - The system of speaking on slips, which was already in practice in the House, should be re-implemented. Suggestions also came to hold debates on the reports of committees, bring important issues to the attention of the Speaker before Zero Hour and ensure the presence of officials.
